All our bags are packed, we’re ready to go we’re standing here out side our car, we are so excited we could cry! (My small but heartfelt homage to John Denver) The car is indeed packed, everything on the list checked off as we await our traveling companions, Doug & Cindy Hughes to go to the airport with us.

It is a very good idea to double check your list to make sure you did not forget anything, also, when flying internationally, regardless of the airport plan to arrive 2.5 hours before the flight to ensure that your bags get on the right flight and you have plenty of time to get thru security. Do not joke about with the TSA people, (or use cell phones in the security area) they have no sense of humor and it is a great way to get a super close pat down.

If you can buy the jump ahead program where you do not have to strip down for the every ogling TSA so much the better. Got to run, do NOT want to be late getting to JFK. Our flight leaves at 5:45 pm EDT. More later…
